UPDATE: In August 2018 we have updated the Agrokor report to reflect the changes resulting from the 04.07.2018 settlement between Agrokor and the creditors. Download the full, updated report now to learn more about the current situation.
Agrokor is one of the largest retail companies in Croatia. With 60,000 employees and a revenue of 6.214 billion EUR in 2016, it is a colossus with legs of clay. The company’s cash flow problems have led to its implosion in 2017 and to subsequent market turmoil in the whole Balkan region, as well as a political crisis in Croatia. Bailout options are currently being considered and they will almost certainly result in ownership changes.
In April 2018 Bearstone Global has published an open report about the situation around Agrokor. We have conducted Open Source research (OSINT) as well as Human Source inquiries (HUMINT) to provide you with the most up-to-date information and possible outcome scenarios.
